Snake River phlox (Phlox colubrina tentative)
Subshrub or spreading forb, somewhat mat forming, blooms in late spring, early summer
Leaves:   Narrow, lance-shaped, greyish green
Flowers: May be pink, white, lavender; petals may be notched.
Habitat:   Dry, gravelly hillsides
Range:    May be found Washington, Oregon, Idaho
